Hello! My name is Lucaci Ioana. I come from Romania and I live in a small village near Baia Mare called Sasar. I am thirteen years old and I live in a house with my family: my mother who is a nurse, my dad who is a coach, he trains our rugby team and my brother, Andrei who is in high school and he is fifteen. I study at “Dimitrie Cantemir” school. I’m in the seventh grade, my class is a normal class with 31 students and they are different each. I go to school from Monday to Friday, our classes begin at 8.00 a.m. and finish at 14.00 or sometimes at 13.00 p.m. I have a lot of friends at my school and in the village where I live, I’m a friendly and nice person. I love listening to music from pop music to rock, even classical music sometimes. I enjoy playing the piano, because I’ve been studying the for four years. When I watch TV, I like to watch comedies, action movies, science fiction films and some romance films from time to time. My favourite actors are Jim Carrey and Johnny Depp. I am not really good at sports, but I can play tennis a little, badminton, basketball and I often play basketball in the defense. Hello! My name is Ungur Bogdan and I am from Romania. I am thirteen years old. I’ll try to say some things about me. My life isn’t so interesting but it is the only one I ever wanted. I live in Baia Mare, a town with many interesting monuments and places that catch your eyes and captivate you. I have a pretty big family with kind and lovely people. My mother’s name is Monica, she helps me a great deal when I find myself in difficulty, like when doing some troublesome homework. My dad’s name is Viorel, he likes many sports and others and I like to play table tennis with him. He’s forty-two years old and my mother is forty years old. My sister’s name is Larisa, she’s fifteen years old; we tease each other almost every day like brothers do, but we are still family and we love each other. In my free time I play on the computer, I chat with my friends, go out for a movie or in the park. I like many kinds of music like rock, hip-hop, pop music etc. After school or in the weekends I go out and play basketball or table tennis. I love to swim and watch comedies, adventure or action movies, but most of all comedies because my favourite actor is Jim Carrey. Hello! I`m Alex , I`m 14 years old and I`m from Romania. I live in Baia Mare with my parents. My father Ionel is 43 years old and he goes to hunt every Sunday. My mother Marinela is 39 years old. I like doing sports, because now I practise Taekwondo, a koreean martial art. I have been practising this sport for 6 years, I have a red belt and I participated to a lot of competitions. My favourite music is rock, and I like to listen to Metallica, Linkin Park and sometimes Bon Jovi. I study in a wonderful school, Dimitrie Cantemir School. Everyday from Monday to Friday I go to school at 7:00 a.m and I come home at 2:20 p.m. I love Romanian, English, Religion, Sport , History, Geography and I hate Chemistry and Physics. My favourite movies are comedies (Bruce Almighty, Superhero Movie, Rush Hour) and horror movies (Case 39, The Others etc.) and sometimes, in the weekend, I watch them. My favourite actors are Jim Carrey, Leslie Nilsen and Chris Tucker. When I have some free time, I like going outside and playing football. I like to play computer games like Counter Strike 1.6, Left 4Dead and I like to work with Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and more other effects programs. Our school’s students participated in a large number in our Reading Contest, held on the 19th of february 2010. The books were selected from Romanian and universal literature. For two weeks, the students lent books from our school’s library and designed the contest’s poster, exposed in our school’d amphiteatre. The reading contest had two sections: a questions and answers session and a painting contest, illustrating passages from the books. The winners will participate in our mobility trip in Hungary, this october.
WRITER MEETING
Intalnirea cu scriitorul George Vulturescu a avut loc in data de 18 februarie 2010, la Biblioteca Judeteana Petre Dulfu. Scriitorul a vorbit elevilor despre viata si opera poetului national Mihai Eminescu, dar si despre propria sa opera.
Intr-o atmosfera degajata , elevii au adresat intrebari la care scriitorul G. Vulturescu a raspuns cu amabilitate,si a oferit autografe.
The meeting wiht the writer George Vulturescu took place on the 18th of february 2010, at the Petre Dulfu County Library. The writer evoked to the students the life and the writings of our national poet Mihai Eminescu, but also about his own writings.
In a very colloquial atmosphere, the students asked questions, kindly answered by Mr. G. Vulturescu, who also did an autographing session.
